When you purchase a new home you now have a relationship with the builder that will hopefully become a friendship based on trust and fairness. Due to that fact, we feel it is very important to know about your builder and their business philosophy.

On that note, we would like to take some time and explain a little about our company. Patriot Building Company is owned by Mike and Michele Mancini and has been in business since 1994. We are a small company and we pride ourselves on quality, service and reputation. It is very important to us that our customers enjoy their new home and are happy with their home buying experience. It is hard to explain the joy we feel when we get to hand someone the keys to their new home and we are blessed to have formed great relationships with our past customers. We have built all our homes exclusively in Redford Township and are very proud to do so. We feel it is very important that a builder has roots and believes in the community in which they build. Myself and my wife were raised in Redford Township and are now raising our family here.

All of our homes are built using the standard of putting quality first. In that vein, we include many upgrades not typically found in the entry level price range we specialize in. The bathrooms all come with ceramic tile floors and all bedrooms are wired for phone and cable. All of our homes come standard with a high efficiency furnace and hot water tank. Also included standard is a Central Air system and gas fireplace. We also take great care in designing the mechanicals of our new homes so that each basement has great potential to be finished. Some builders place a furnace directly in the middle of a basement making it difficult to make good use of your basement space. Our goal is always to give more to our customers than they might expect, that is why we build our homes with a master bath, not typically found in the existing homes in the area. Perhaps the biggest item that sets our homes apart is our extensive use of brick. At a time when most builders are cutting costs we are trying to give our buyers more than they expect and include much more in our standard pricing then other builders. Our goal is never to charge and make money on the extras, our goal is not to have our customers need extras.

Purchasing a new home over an existing home has so many benefits. Unlike with existing homes you are buying updated energy and safety codes. With new construction you will benefit from smaller energy bills and can feel much safer knowing your family is protected by interconnected hardwired smoke detectors. The largest benefit of a new construction home is years of worry free homeownership. When you purchase an existing home unexpected costs could arise at anytime. With a new construction purchase you don’t have to worry about new windows, a new roof, or needing a new furnace or air conditioning unit for many years.

Included in the purchase of our homes is an eighteen month builder warranty that exceeds the standard set by the state of Michigan and the building industry. Within that time frame if you have any problems with material or workmanship defects we personally take care of them with the same quality and care that went into building your home at absolutely no cost to the homeowner. We never use a third party warranty company that may charge a deductible and would make it impossible for us to control the quality.

We work closely with real estate agents to make the home buying experience a happy one. We are very hands on in all aspects of our company from start to finish and are always available to talk prospective homebuyers and agents that may have questions or concerns. Prospective homebuyers should feel comfortable to call about homes available or time frames on completion at any time. We also work closely with the mortgage company and banks to make sure they have any needed information on a timely basis to help insure a smooth and timely closing.
